FocusDriven.Org Could Say Cell Phone, Text Message Driven Road Warriors Have Led To The Question…DO YOU SEE THE MOTORCYCLE???

DO YOU SEE IT NOW?

The Honda rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a CELL PHONE when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The riders reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place.
All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly…

An army of people is coming together to call attention to distracted driving — a serious, life-threatening epidemic that is stealing loved ones from us.

Called Focus Driven – Advocates for Cell-Free Driving, is a  non-profit “army”  that has been operating since last year to convince the nation’s motorists to take a simple action that most states have not yet required by law: Put down the cellphone or the BlackBerry, a driving violation that can mean a $100 fine in over a dozen states.

FocusDriven.org was launched last year after its president, Jennifer Smith, lost her mother in a crash with a distracted driver who went through a red light while on his cellphone. The group is modeled after Mothers Against Drunk Driving, whose advocacy led to changes in laws and public opinion about drinking and driving.

An Announcement Tuesday in Washington, D.C., means the White House is endorsing the group and is actually seeking victims and family members to change public opinion about a driving practice that some studies believe causes at least 6,000 deaths annually….notexting

Wake up people , Stop talking on Cell phones and
Texting while  trying to drive. Put your Cell phone
in the back seat !!!
